Default Anyone using eBay reverse glow gauges? (6G, I4)

I saw the gauge cluster for the 7thG Accords the other day at night, and I must say that white glow is really nice. I got on eBay and found a few examples, one that was just plan reverse, then a "7" color (more like 7 shades of 1 color) one, and a couple of others. Which ones are you guys using with success?

I bought the reverse indiglow from ebay white face and that thing lasted about 2 months and then the inverter died. Went back to stock and won't go back to after market. The best look too me is the stock but yes wish I had the stock 7th gen cluster.

I'm using reverse el indiglos. The difference is that the whole face doesn't light up. So white face during the day, then at night only the letters/numbers light up. I chose white face with blue and red at night. See pics. The install was straight forward; tapping into the existing power took the most time to get it right. I installed the control for it in the spot where the fog light swtich would go (next to the cruise control switch). It's been 7 months and no problems.

The numbers are actually really bright at max brightness level - brighter than the stock gauges.

Yea, I couldn't find any gauges that were just all all one color either. Occassionally I see some that are, but you have to keep looking.

I think the blue is much more pleasing to my eyes doing night driving. Same with the white face during the day.

I so rarely see aftermarket gauges that actually look good. These look outstanding. Too bad my car's leased

I didn't glue mine in, so I could remove them if I wanted, accept that I would have to find a new cap for the spot where I placed the brightness knob. The wiring wasn't soddered in, just clipped, so I could remove that easily.

But yea, it would be a pain. You could do it, but you would have to do a good job of removing them before turning the car in.

I have seem better gauges than mine, but they don't show up very often. I felt that the ones I had were a good comprimise for the fact that I didn't want to purchase an entire new gauge cluster.

There are good ones out there, you just have to look for a while. But I agree, most are not that great. I mean, I only spent $35 for mine, so that should tell you that you're only going to get something so great for $35. Spend more, and theoretically you might get something better...

These pics are of a set of reverse indiglo gauges I bought on ebay 2 1/2 years ago in a 2002 Accord coupe 4AT. Never had a problem.
