I'm using reverse el indiglos. The difference is that the whole face doesn't light up. So white face during the day, then at night only the letters/numbers light up. I chose white face with blue and red at night. See pics. The install was straight forward; tapping into the existing power took the most time to get it right. I installed the control for it in the spot where the fog light swtich would go (next to the cruise control switch). It's been 7 months and no problems.
