Default Looking to join the 6th Gen crowd

Well I found a 98 coupe exl v6 with only 22000 miles. The price is only 16000 so I am really thinking this is almost too good to be true. Could someone please, sorry, run a carfax on 1HGCG2258WA013824, if all works out I will be here to post away about my new ride....

98 Accord coupe with 22000 miles for $16000. That is a great deal. I just recently bought a 99 coupe exl with 27,000 miles for only $15400. The only thing wrong with it was that someone rear-ended it. NO biggy. BUT, that does make a big difference in the value and price of the car. Whoever is selling the car, it's their responsibility to provide a CARFAX report.

No its not. The seller is supposed to disclose any accident history while the car was in their ownership, but what if they don't and you find out 6 months later? You gonna hire a lawyer and sue. most likely not.......Buyer Beware

Well I went ahead and bought it, the dealer signed a paper saying it doesnt not have any sort of salvage title on the car. I would still like to see any sort of history I can on the car. Running the free check is has 3 hits kinda curious to see what comes up. Well I am now a member of the family time to start simple mods!

pay the money and see what the carfax says. The 40 or 50 bucks is worth it before you spend 17 grand

Its definately worth the money to get a FULL carfax report. I recommend against anything other than carfax, especially consumer report's car history feature. I paid for the consumer reports one before buying my 94 accord off a private seller and it came up with possible odometer fraud. It listed the first mileage check in 94 at 73,000 miles. Obviously it was wrong, and they had alot of other milage records out of order. Stick with carfax.
