I'm having trouble finding my dipstick..i think i found where it's SUPPOSED to be but there's a black cap on top of it...can you guys make sure this is where the dipstick is supposed to be? it's in the middle of the picture with a black cap



btw sorry for the big picture..just want you guys to be able to see it...also, side-note..the tranny bolts are the tightest pieces of shit ever!!! =(

Edit: I see you have a 5th gen after looking at another of your posts.

I can't say for sure on the 5th gens, but on the 6th gens you check the fluid level by removing the filling bolt just higher than the drain bolt, and when the car is level, the fluid should be maxed out at the fill bolt height.

Hope that helps. When retightening them, the torque specs for the 6th gen is 33lbs for fill bolt, 29lbs for drain bolt. I'm sure 5th gen is similiar.
