Damn, I say you just get and estimate on what the damages is cause it is her fault and get some ass from her later on too. You can try and settle out of court so your insurance won't go up. I am suprised the cop let you take a pic of him also.

Get an estimate from a couple of local shops, call her insurance company, and see what they plan to do about it. Her insurance should pay for it unless they're cheap-o and have a really small deductible. It doesn't look like it hit hard enough to do any damage to the frame.

Well, do you or her have insurance? If you have insurance, then you call them up, tell them what happened (and her getting a ticket obviously tells she's at fault). They should take care of the whole matter for you. You if you have insurance for a rental car, then you should be able to get one no problem.

Also, like others have said, there could be more damage underneath.

I jus called my ins company to report it; they gave me a claim #.....wtf does this thing do anyway?

They setup an appt with a auto body shop to go see............ does that mean I can't use my own independant shop? im so new to all this, can someone help me out?

They said an adjuster will call me within 24 hrs........what happens then?

My back is somewhat sore as well as my neck.
I barely have enough money to spend on a lawyer and almost little to no time in the next couple weeks as I prep to change jobs..........what can i do?

What kind of coverage do you have. That's going to determine alot of stuff.

Your claim number's going to help if you have any questions about your case ie: how it's coming along, updates, etc.

You CAN NOT use your own body shop. The insurance company has one that they send all of their cars to and that's the only estimates they'll take.
