Default Tranny fluid overfilled...BAD????

Does anyone knows if this hurt transmission? Also, are that 2002 Honda models affected by the transmission plague?

If it is an automatic, that is very bad. The fluid foams and when it's foam, it can't do its job.

If it is a manual, don't worry about it. Just top it off properly, the next time you change it.

it doesnt literally foam, but its bad for the tranny. better flush and refill it.

It absolutely does literally foam. Maybe not in idle, just sitting there, but it does when driving under a load. That's when you get cavitation, and the fluid loses its ability to create pressure and to lubricate.

i meant literally foam to where he could pull out his dipstick and see.
