Default Vacuum Hose in tranny fluid?!?

I read in a magazine awhile back (I think sport compact) and it said that you can take one of the vacuum hoses from your intake manifold and put it into a bottle of tranny fluid. Then rev the engine around 3k and let all the black nasty stuff fly out the exhuast.

The purpose of this is to get rid of the carbon build up.

Does this sound true? I'm extremely hesitant to try it! Can you blame me?

You use ATF, and you use a small amount like a couple capfulls. The detergents in the ATF help break up the carbon, and you get to hang out in a cloud of white smoke for about 20 minutes.

You can use the hose from the FPR. Just pull the end connected to the FPR off, and let it suck the ATF into the intake manifold.
