I read in a magazine awhile back (I think sport compact) and it said that you can take one of the vacuum hoses from your intake manifold and put it into a bottle of tranny fluid. Then rev the engine around 3k and let all the black nasty stuff fly out the exhuast.

The purpose of this is to get rid of the carbon build up.

Does this sound true? I'm extremely hesitant to try it! Can you blame me?
