gauge needle broke

Default gauge needle broke..another problem

i just found another problem.... when i tried running the car, the speedometer doesnt work anymore. anyone have any ideas why?


when i was instaling my reverse glow gauges the fuel needle fell out. i was wondering if there is a way to fix it. (long shot) Or if there were somewhere i could buy a new one.

Sadly, the worst case scenerio is buying a used gauge cluster. You might be able to find decade old Accord's in scrapyards by now.

did you make sure you conected all the wires back on? did you take the needles out when you installed the revese indglows? cause once you take the needles out eather you can never get them back in or you have to buy a new one. fortunatly i found out how to put the needle back in it takes a while but it works.

Since you found out how, could you let us know, I have the same problem with an LED convert I did, I took off the temp. face to see if there was a filter causing the "orange" glow, now I can't get the temp. needle to move.

if you ned a new needle you can get them from www.tasautoparts.com How much would a used gauge cluster cost anyway?

Guys, I know atleast for a 1999 civic I could. But you can order just that needle assembly.. Someone had installed indigos in a civic we had and messed up the fuel needle, it was only like $20 from Honda for the new gas gauge.
