PIAA bulbs question..
you should get the picture that since we're giving other suggestions, they're better than using PIAA. PIAA is pretty good, but not for the money. you get more bang for the buck by doing a conversion. if you want to get less for your money, by all means go with the PIAA 9006.
you may have the idea that doing the conversion would take a while to do or would be difficult, but for your car it would only require sanding off the plastic nubs inside the bulb base, which would take all of 5 minutes. but maybe that isn't simple simple enough. if you're having a hard enough time with this, doing other mods might not be in your best interest.

I'd pick up some OSRAM SilverStar's from a European dealer. (Sylvania = OSRAM, just different company names depending where you live.) The US Sylvania SilverStars are +30% brightness, the European version is +50%.
Note, obviously, the European version does not have DOT/SAE certifications, but if it were tested, it would most likely meet their standards. They're certified by the European equiv of our DOT.

Why be such a dick when you can just simple give them a link or something?
I've gone thru all the searches and Found very little info because of you guys just trying to blow the guy that's asking the question..so as a result, I found one link that has the Do-It-Your-Self page...
And the rest of the info i found was
1. It will burn out faster if you it more (duh?) b/c it's higher voltage
2. It's simple! just search for it!
3. something rubber gasket...
4. GET SILVERSTAR!...piaa is just way too expencive..
responses:
1. 9005 uses the same voltage. the power consumption is 10W higher, so that means a little more current is needed. your stock wiring harness will be able to handle this.
2. i can't believe that it was difficult to find info on this. i just searched this forum for 9005 in the thread title and came up with 42 results. it took less time than posting a new thread.
3. rubber gaskets aren't related to this.
4. silverstar is fine if you don't mind that one of them will look like this after less than a year of use:

but this time how ever, i really don't appreciate it,
Why? You still don't read my stuff clear enough, like I said
I am getting SilverStar, not PIAA, and it is clearly said up there,
and moding other stuff..I just simple don't have time for little things like that, for BIG projects, I make a time for it, but just for a light bulb change? probably not...and it shill be non of your business what-so-ever(sorry if I sound like a dick)
Well, Thanks for yall that gave me some other advises before giving me a clear answer, it helped quiet a bit, but things in my plan just might get switched around later on,
Calbearz24,
1. I know they can handle the power, but they do how ever burn out faster, that's the fact i got after reading over 200+ posts about PIAA VS SilverStar and convertion stuff
2. I never said it was difficult, you just made that up, Find a spot where I said it was difficult, I said you guys just blow the guy off that's asking the question..not difficult
3. Rubber gasket for convertion, I don't know where i picked that up from
4.what is that picture of the light bulb supose to be? Yes i see that they are little black on top, is that a burned out bulb?
Thank you all for your reponses agian, it's about time to close this thread, I got my clear answers from this
i need to buy a new dremel in order to complete my conversion but do u really notice that much of a difference?
if so, then ill have the stock conversions for my lows and silverstar highs, that would piss ppl off...

you sure like to say the word dick and that guys blow other guys who ask questions.
i understand that you want simple answers, but some questions aren't answered well with simple answers, like yours. some of us came back with answers you didn't expect (or want, apparently), that could help you come out with a better solution.
get the ST with 90° base since that's what your stock bulbs have. the rebate for silverstars when i bought mine was part of the display. that picture was one of my silverstars after 7 months of light to moderate use. good luck.
wedley, the conversion is a pretty big step up (70%) but after a while it seemed like stock and makes me wanna get HID.
now someone lock this damn thread.
