wheel problems
I currently have a 6th gen V6 sedan and changed the rims to aftermarket 17x7 offset 40mm rims and they rub pretty badly in the back. I'm dropped using the prokits and am running on 215-50-17 tires, which is what is recommended as the replacement. However, I was rubbing before the car was dropped. Any suggestions from here? I'm open to replacing the wheels with a higher offset if needed. Thanks.

I'm rubbing only on the drivers side rear wheel. When my last set of tires died, there was a hole on the outside of the tire.
My car isn't very bouncy, however, the rubbing started before the drop. I originally had 225-45-17 tires and both rubbed, dropping to the 215 got rid of the problem on one side.
