i got 6.5 into my 90 accord ex sedan. forgot how tho. and i also got the same 6.5 into my 00 accord coupe. the basket didnt fit tho... had to cut a whole into the plastic basket so the magnet could fit thru

I think they'll screw into the little black adapter, but won't actually fit in the car? My 6.5"s fit into the adapter just fine.

LOL i remember this problem. made me so MAD!

What i did was use the universal bracket that came with the speakers, and i spun it around on the mounting point on the car until 2 or 3 holes from the univ. bracket lined up with the stock mountings, i sawed off all the rest, and just ran screws (and a bolt set) into those 3 holes. It's a complete ghetto-rig, but nobody gonna see it and it functions well enough.

I have a problem with my speaker connecters rattling off of the speaker though. Gonna have to use like some kinda temporary adhesive to keep them on or something because I am tired of taking my door panels off every 2 weeks to reattach them. anyone else have that problem?
