Default headlight

my friend's headlight bulb burned out, and got so hot it melted onto the connector. dealership wanted a buttload (90) just to take a look at it. so, i was thinking maybe we could cut the line, go junkyard and get a new one, and splice em...would that work?...sry if i don't know much about electrical systems...anybody got any other ideas?

Sounds like it should work. Same harness = same wires. Just make sure you get the right wires going to the right places!

you can solder or use a butt(sp?) connector..

for wires that will be exposed to the elements, i usually solder and use a shrink tube over it to keep the moisture out..
