Default New AEM brakes, but car still squeeling?

I got new AEM front brakes for my 00 Accord Coupe, I've had them for about a week and half and last 3 days my brakes starting squeeling. At first they start squeeling when I start the car about probably 3-5 minutes after am in the road the squeeling stops? My brother in law did the job, the response on the braking is much faster than the stock brakes it had and also way less brake dust but do I have to live with the squeeling? I know he didn't resurface the rotors or anything, so what can be the problem?

when you replace pads, rotors should be resurfaced as well. If that's the not the problem, try taking the pads off and saturating them with the spray on anti squeal, it worked great on my car, same brake pads

When brakes that are not Factory OEM's are installed, sometimes squealing can occur for different reasons. May not be a snug fit until they get some real wear on them and break in (rotors could have been resurfaced), brake dust could be a reason as well. If it's not too loud then I wouldn't worry about it too much, but if it is really loud, or just too annoying for you then the spray could help fix the problem.

Dude the problem resides due to the lack of asbestos in the pads.
I have brembo cross drilled/ slotted brakes w/ AXXIS metal master pads.

Since they are semi- metallic pads the metal shavings makes the pads squeel when braking.
I want to get new pads and everyone is recommending EBC Greenstuff pads....
Im about to just go to Honda and buy OEM pads and that will clear my issue for sure.

I've dealt with the noise for about 3 months already and am used to it.

The squealing is from the metallic compound that is in the brake pad. This is common for high performance metallic brake pads. It just needs time to warm up until it will stop squealing.

Could be the shim that holds the pad. Was anti-squal compound applied prior to installation?

there was no anti-squeel compound or spray put on there. My brother in law just them in there and replaced the front pads that were there.

When you replace the OE's with the AEM's you have to move 2 shims per pad from the old to the new. Between each pad shime some anti-squeal is usually needed.

In addition, cleaning the rotor surface with soapy water is good, then cleaning everything with brake parts cleaner (not the new pads) should make everything fine.

Did you do a break-in procedure on the new pads? Following this can really make your pads last longer.
