Default Preparing to get boosted

Since I'm still in college and can't really afford to go into debit on a car and juggle college I can't get my RSX-S for a couple more years. Since it's summer, and I'm working my ass off I'm going to have a few grand here in about a month. I've decided to boost my automatic 6thG. I'm not interested in a manual swap, I'll just buy a manual next time.

Issues:

I'm in need of a transmission rebuild at some point (sounds like a great time, eh!) I'd like to have my transmission rebuilt to handle the boost I'd like to push to it. I know stock trannies can take it, but if I'm having mine rebuilt, I see no point in spending a little more and getting something stronger.

I realize I'm not going to be able to boost more than about 6-8lb, and that's fine with me. I just want a little more speed in my Accord. I love the body styling. I'm not looking for a custom job either, an FMAX or Drag kit would work and which would you guys recommend?

I wouldn't be attempting to do any of this work, so I realize there will be labor fees. I've been quoted at $3K for a rebuild at the local Honda dealership, and I've seen the turbo kits for I believe about $2 grand. I'm betting with labor on the turbo install, dyno, tuning, etc will be another what $500?

Does anyone have dyno charts of 6thG Accord I4 Auto's boosted on any of these 'kits'?

I'm very serious about this, I know the time and money involved. I just need a little more speed.

here is some information background on my setup.

My turbo setup was used 2300 bucks. I had alot of lil parts I wanted to get to complete the install all the odd parts added up to about 500 so bucks. Tunning also costed about 100bucks for 1hour.

A few other members on hour board www.honduh.com or for now known as http://66.197.71.43 have boosted auto accords a member by the name CANN ran for 3years without any problems on 6-8Ibs.

Extra care for a aftermarket turbo kit is a bitch but worth it in the long run i guess if you have the time, and money. Oil changes every 2500 for me and gas dude its like drivign a SUV and usuing your AC all the time.

www.turbokits.com has bolt on turbocharger kits.

Keep in mind that if you do turbo there will always be little things youll want to do

And I also think for the f23 engines with 6-8Ibs boost you can expect a night day difference. Last time I was at the dyno on 4.5Ibs was 187hp.
