How do I remove the silencer on my B2 OBX muffler with rolled tips? I removed the screw on top and tried to pull it out but all that happened was I grunted and the thing didnt budge... is it welded on there and all I can do is tune it with that little crappy turning thing? please help

 

it's not welded on. just pull like a b*tch and it'll come off. Well, at least that was the case with my Revolution muffler. My guess is (and i'm pretty damn sure) is that it's not welded on, cuz it'd be pretty stoopid to weld something on and then use a screw. (=

 

i just tried again, this time with my brother holding the exhaust, that thing is on there like a *****!

 

we had to use a rod to take it out of my roommate's integra, took a very long time... you gotta just really gotta apply a lot of force, keep at it!

 

I think on the obx, you can just turn them to "tune" them. I dunno if they are removeable.
