Default Anyone got HIDs in their car

Been thinking about getting a HID kit for mine. If you have one where did you get it, how much and how difficult was the install.

.Because one, blue coated bulbs are illegal but then again not too many cops care anymore.

two is they suck in the rain, and final is that the bulbs are way dimmer than stock bulbs so safety becomes an issue.
Also, some truly are brighter but they run at a higher wattage which means you are going to either burn ur harness down or damage something else.
HID's are expensive for a reason.

axeman I would search this site and also hidforum.com in order to find your answers.

Installation was a breeze too as it was a simple plug and play.

Need to watch it dude, 6000k and you start to get into the unusable light range.........
BMW, lexus and every other company are using at highest 5000k bulbs, 4100k is standard. You only see blue/purple flashes due to the projector lenses they are using.....and if you see it on a TL or IS300 then it is due to the freeform reflector housings, not the bulbs

I am thinking 4k max because its really useless to me to have headlights that don't illuminate the road I am driving on.
