I don't have the money to get an engine swap since I don't have tools nor the money for forced induction. I do have the money to do mods on my own.

Where should I look for a new cam? If ebay, what should I search for and could you show me an example for my 91 accord on ebay?
What are some other mods other than CAI, short ram, and header that I can do at home?
For meaningful HP improvements with minimal wrenching, that's really about it. You could consider an underdrive lightweight crank pulley or a lightweight flywheel. Both of those mods improve acceleration, but they don't increase HP per se. They just reduce wasted energy. Be forewarned that a lightweight, undamped crank pulley can cause bearing damage over the long term, depending on who you believe.

I think aluminum flywheels - specifically Fidanza - are superior to one piece forged CR-MO units for many reasons, but I'm not going to get into that here.

Neither of those mods are DIY-friendly unless you're ok with dropping a tranny, or you have access to a 1/2" to 3/4" pneumatic impact wrench to get the crank pulley bolt loose.

You need to do your own research on cams. Suffice it to say the camshaft is what actuates the valves, and control when and how long and how high they open; therefore, they control airflow in and out of the engine, and they ultimately determine how much power your engine can make.

Good luck with your project.
