Default 5th gen tranny question

**warning : newb question **

i know about the problems of a 5th gen transmission and mine recently hit the 100 k miles mark. my transmission doesnt seem to catch very well and is somewhat jerky.

1) what are some things i can do to fix this? (cheaper the better)
-when searching posts i read that you can change the timing belt. how much would this cost? i also read that you should change the transmission fluid. how would i do this.

sorry for such newb questions but i have never really done much of this stuff and this is my first car.

thanks

If you want to keep the car for a longer period of time. I recommend taking it to a mechanic.

Have the fluid flushed and have honda adjust whatever they can. It might be a bit on the $$ side, but cheaper than a manual conversion or a new slushbox...
