damn... speaking of bad wrecks, I seen this coming home one night, two friends and a guy i met that night with a M3 were almost involved in it. The M3 was next to his friends in this TA, and my friends were behind him in their turbo CRX. This prelude, est. at 120mph jumped the median on the highway, airborn, and struck the TA pratically head on, both were prolly going 60+ at this time of impact. Luckly though EVERYONE walked away

Here's the pics:

sometimes on side hit airbags won't explode.
I've seen couple simular car crashes, when I was in Ukraine.
In one guy cutted of 3 trees. His speedometer froze at the speed of 265Kmph. The only good part left of the car was tail lights.
In another one guy was traveling in MB600 about 260 also when he desided to pass a car and hit head on 18 wheeler craine. Debrie was everywhere and one guy almost got killed by engine of MB, which felt on his car some 150 meeters away from crash site.

It is scary to drive when the guy, who doesn't have braine or has a braine freeze, gets behind the wheel, putting in danger not only himself but bunch of others too.

PS. Was this car stolen, because there is some kind of strange peace instead of key in ingition?

Ok, a few comments.

1) you didn't HAVE to edit out any names and locations. I understand doing it out of respect, but if the news paper printed them, then it's public knowledge. (sorry that just caught my attention for some reason)

Anyways.

2) I'm sorry to hear a life was lost in that. I was wondering if eaither of the drivers were drinking? Or do you know?

I am staying with some people righ tnow and him and his gf like to argue alot. seems liek every thing she does pisses him off. 2 days ago he was pissed and drinking and decided to go drive off steem. (if I had not ben in my room watching TV, I would have taken his keys) Anyways. he went to the local park and was driving around the parking lot and hit a light post with his truck (F150, not sure of year) he did some hurt to the truck and himself. I have NO remorse for a drunk driver and I was VERY pissed because there was a little league game going on 50 yards from where he hit the post. He could have kit some kid. He couldn't drive the truck, so he called his GF to go pick him up, (so now he's adding leaving the scene of an accident to his charges). Well, whe he goes back in an hour to get his truck, it's gone. come to find out the park he was at was right behind the Fire Dept (My Dept no doubt) and the 911 call center, and they all saw it and radioed the PD and they had it towed away. So I think. "Good he'll get caught when he goes to pick it up because I knwo they have a hold on the truck." Well, they did but they droped the hold the next morning and only charged him $65 to pick it up. Damn ass hole got away scott free.

out in bensalem pa where my fam lives there's a cemetery. not even 5 minutes from their house. an elderly gentleman was there visiting his deceased wife. he had visited her everyday since her passing some time ago. the exit from the cemetery leads to hulmeville road. open road for maybe half a mile, cemetery also right across from a church. as he was exiting the cemetery to turn onto the road a police cruiser hit the car and killed the man. newspapers say the officer was responding to a call and did what he could to avoid the man. i haven't seen the pictures but others have told me that they suggest otherwise.

i see cruisers speeding down 25mph streets in camden where i am and even in philly where i work. little kids run through the streets and in between cars all the time. neither lights nor sirens fully protect us that from meeting that car. its not just the cruisers, but all that do not pay attention and speed.

in my ER im fortunate to not see much of this, but in others i've worked in there are those less fortunate.
