broken hood

Default broken hood

ok today i was trying to open my hood after the thieves broke in...but it seems like the wire that is connected to the latch is too long or too much slack or whatever...its not tight...anything u guys suggest so i can get this open??

you need to stick your hand in the grill, find the hood latch mechanisim, and behind it there is a little round metal ball, you pull that back. BTW if your hoodlatch mechanisim isn't fully exposed from the grill... goodluck.

pull and hold the handle up... then pull down on the cable that is attached to the handle to pull on it more... you should get it open then... if not the cable may be broken.

i tried but im gonna wait till i get home so i can try a lil harder...but if it is broken...theres no other way huh?
