its cool...i think that is good enough..im gonna get to it soon as i get home...this noise is annoying as helllllll...i think i saw it too...it looks like the belt isnt on the pully correctly

Ah yes, forgot about that too, a loose belt will cause a squeal noise. Good luck!

thanx for the help...i did adjust the belt...it was a lil loose, but that wasnt the noise...it seems like it might be coming from the area next to the belt..its like a black plastic cover or somethin??

Black area plastic cover? The timing belt area perhaps? Might be a pulley or something inside that is causing the noise. I don't know too much yet about timing belts and the different pulleys, but get it check out as if it is something major to where a pulley or something can seize up, that would be bad for the belt to break as I believe the honda is an interference engine, looking at new heads then in that case.

Does it sound like a belt sliding on plastic?

I've had T-belts stretch and slide on the cam gear and start cutting into the T-belt cover until the belt snaps--BAM!

that could possibly be it, it looks like its coming from this black plastic thing...sorry a lil engine stupid
