Default DC Header Question???

I went to a local shop and ask for a DC header and told me $320. So i asked him about the sensor and he said for my car DC header doesn't have a hole for the o2 sensor, so i told him i had a focuz header before(that i bought from him 2 years ago) and it has a hole for the o2 sensor, and he said coz DC header for accords are longer header so it doesn't need it or have one.

Is that true? Or is this guy lying or what?

So i really need to buy one asap, can anyone help me out on this.

Any other shop you guys know that i can buy it cheaper?

I saw one on ebay for $280 shipped but if it's gonna be $20-40 difference i think i should just get it a local shop.

Exactly what he said. The header comes with an o2 sensor extension.

I just installed my DC header for my 97 ex and the O2 sensor is not on the header. Nore was it on the old exhaust manafold. It has this extra pipe between the cat and the header that has the 02 sensor.

I ended up buying my DC header used for $177 off eBay . Anyways, he didn't include the O2 extention thing, so we ended up making a wiring harness for it and making an extention off that by splicing the wires. We made a second harness so if my O2 sensor fails, we don't have to splice it again.

Dave, that guy is a tard. If you can avoid it, don't go to him anymore, dude has no clue. The DC header does have an opening for an o2 sensor. My car is a LX, and the sensor was on the exhaust manifold, but on the DC header, it's relocated to the rear of the downpipe. In order to relocate it, I had to buy an o2 sensor extension from DC, it was like $30. Your car is an EX right? I'm not sure if you'd have to do the same or if your sensor is already back there. But I had to buy the pigtail cause I bought my ceramic coated DC header used for $150(3 months old) If you buy one brand new, I believe the extension comes with(if the EX even needs one).

As far as DC being legal, yes it is. There is a CARB plate welded onto the header w/the CARB# so you'd be good. Good luck man, AND CLOSE YOUR DAMN HOOD!!!!!!!!
