Sup Rich, you know i,ve been looking at ebay even for used one for cheap but can't find one so i just bought a new one, not bad for the price. And i've seen that metal plate on dc header just wasn't sure if all dc header are legal.

Okay, when i ordered the header i specifically asked if the header would have a hole to put my o2 sensor and ofcourse the guy said yes, finally got my header and guess what, theres no freaking hole for the o2 sensor. On the box there is a picture of the header with a hole for the sensor and the instructions for it states "after installing the header, install the o2 sensor on your new DC header".

Anyway i called the guy(performancecenter.com) and doesn't know why i got the one without the sensor. so he told me to call AEM/DC headquarers and the person that i talked to said i got the right header all i need to do is leave the stock short pipe where my o2 sensor is on then connect my new header from there coz the DC header accomodates the stock piping and everything shoul fit and wor-out just right.

What do you guys think? Does that make sense?

Tomorrow im going to check under my car if thats gonna work.

hey dave, hit up accordhybrid, he's got an ex, maybe he'd be able to tell you for sure. I have a LX so my header came with the hole back at the end where it connects to the stock piping. Damn man, that sucks. Hope you get it figured out. Oh hey, get under the car and see where your o2 sensor is right now, if it's just behind where the downpipe connects to the exhaust piping, ur good, but if it's on the manifold or downpipe, ur screwed.

94 is obd1 and his O2 sensor should have been originally on the manifold with no O2 sensor on the cat if i remember correctly, so yeah, if your header doesn't have a bung for the O2 sensor it's the wrong one. not completely sure though

I have a 94 too and that's where my sensor was, on the manifold. When I got my header, the hole for the sensor was on the downpipe so I had to get an extension to relocate it.

So Dave, what's up mang? Get it figured out?

Talked to DC company and he said they dont make it for my car. Here's the funny thing after my stock manifold there is this small pipe that connects the manifold and the cat and that small pipe is where my o2 sensor is connected, so the guy told me i still have to use that short pipe with the o2 sensor on it connect the DC header to it and thats it. and i looked at my old header before that has a hole for the sensor, my old one is longer and DC header is shorter, so it will work with the stock short pipe with the new DC header.
