CAI and Cat Back... suggestions??

also anything that u can hear is also most likly not able to pass the db muffler test. unless you want to be harrassed then id suggest greddy, only 94db. or like me, customize your own tips!
it still depends at want time you drive at and whr...

I dunno, I'm kinda torn: on the one hand I agree with melt and say WTF? Mod your car and take your chances with the cops (I've had no problems, yet). On the other hand, I agree with whoaitslen2 and say, do what feels right.

Anyway, I have an AEM V2 and Greddy EVO cat back.

tell me what on the exterior of any vehicle is gonna give an officer that propable cause ... and dont say the exhaust system ... theres plenty of people who puts flows on their trucks and dont have shit under the hood.

here's the thing... if he says he's got probable cause, it's his word against yours... and that's what holds up in court if it ever goes that far.

I think it's true that

Injen CAI is better than AEM CAI original one... performance wise..

but wut about Injen CAI and AEM CAI V2 ??

i think the AEM CAI is the best out of the 2. and as for the bypass... it saved my ass a few times... plus if you just get a two pice CAI then you gotta take off your plastic pices to get to your filter everytime you wanna make it a short ram.. who the hell wants to do that everytime it rains?

what part of MD you from newbb?

Millersville... near glen burnie...

bypass is only for aem cai original right??

hmm v2 doesnt recommend using bypass.. also injen doesnt have one..

$200 for a pipe with a filter on it ... oh well its your money waste it at will, dont trip when all you have is your aem intake and people with brains have all sorts of shit done cause they wisley managed their money.

id have to agree wit melt on this one, as long its mandrel bent, nice filter (heaps of filtering and air flow), u should be all good plus it comes with the whistle!
