hmm, I wonder how my trans will hold up over the next 5-6 years if I autocross it twice a month? I've already done 2 fluid changes i nthe past 1000 miles, plan on doing one more, then just doing the 2.5qt drain+refill every other oil change. After the 2nd drain+refill I've noticed that it's even smoother I've installed the B&M Supercooler to provide additional cooling when it's needed, and I think I'll eventually install a temperature guage just so I can be nerdy.

Normally when I autocross it, I start in 1, move up to 2, and leave it locked there. When launching I really try to avoid "brake torquing" it. Normally I just have my left foot firmly on the the brake, push down on the gas and let go of the brake as soon as the gas pedal hits the floor. Basically it makes it a "smooth" launch so it feels like I'm not abusing the tranny :dunno:

nope, just the tranny cooler. It came with instructions that were pretty much self explanatory. All I really needed was some more 3/8" transmission hose and a quart of Honda ATF
