Is there any way to change the door locking sound ??

when u push lock button from remote twice it gives u loud "HONK!!!"

sound.... and if ur alarm system is upgraded from dealer for 500 bucks..

then it gives little bird sound(?) anyway.. u no wut i mean...

is there any way to change that sound?? without upgrading whole alarm system for 500 bucks??

that honk sound is really loud... and i dont like it.....

 

umm... dont hit the button twice, that sounds like an easy remedy to me.

If you want to keep pressing the button twice and want to change the sound, you can find the horn output wire on the keyless module, cut it and run a siren off it or something... then you'd have a chirp when you hit the button twice.

 

the only time mine honks is when i hit the button before my door is all the way closed on accident

since the loud honk you hear is your horn, you can take the program wire off the horn wire under your drivers-side dash, but then obviously you will get no sound, just lights flashing (as long as they are hooked up in the first place) as far as alarms i wouldnt get one just for the chirping sound! mine was 200 installed...

 

or u could change ur horn, i think....
