I thought it was rated at about 140, but I may have misread it.

i'm supposed to have 130hp with my 91 EX but i would like to see what it really is

 

nice stats...for 135 flywheel hp w/ just sri/e thas really nice gains...props...a lot of loss tho...are u AT or MT...like i know u lose a lot from the drivetrain but 30 hp and 25 tq??

 

Its the 4 speed automatic, but they only dynoed it in 2nd gear.

The loss is approx. 20% loss overall; inside the acceptable range. I'm sure if I had pulleys it would be less of a power drain.

I do have a very well worn motor mount on the back of the engine, so that may also lead to results that are somewhat off, but overall I am pleased with the results. As I do more work to the Accord, I'll have it tested so every1 can see how much each mod contributes towards power gains. I don't mind paying for dyno tests as long as I'm not just throwing money away; I'll use the same dyno each time for consistency.

 

I have an 1991 EX-R(ALB) Accord (canadian) equivalent to an EX or SE Accord in USA, I always tought that it had 140 hp, but some books mention 130hp and others 140hp. So i'm confused. How many Hp does my Accord really have? I'm supposed to have the F22A4 or the F22A6 engine. Could anyone help me on that.

i think you have 130 but if it was a 92 or 93 it would have 140
but i'm not 100% sure

The 1990-1991 EX cars were basicly the same and had 130hp.
The 1992-1993 EX cars were basicly the same and had 140hp.
The Lx model for 1993 has 125hp, so thats a 15hp loss against the EX.
So when people say to me: "The lx is just as good as the ex". I say: "what, the EX has (sunroof, abs, alloys, dual muffler design on one muffler, more hp, and I think everything power comes standard, and to me it just looks better for some reason)"!

Also whats the diff. between the f22a and the f22b? I have an f22a6, is that any good?

 

F22A1 =125 hp
F22A4 = 130 hp
F22A6 = 140 hp

Now, my question, witch engine do I have in my 1991 EXR(alb) accord? I know as a fact that the F22A6 was on the market since 1991.

Does anyone know???

if this is any help, the EXR version come with ABS brakes....

 

well its either 125hp and 127 ft/lbs or 125hp and 137ft/lbs.. i forgot also hondapower.. also if you had 5spd you'd but a little more to the wheels... mines 5 spd
