All right, my mait. req yellow light in on. I have 60533 miles on my 00 accord lx.
Manual says that is a reminder light to do 60000 service. I don't feel like paying $500 for things I always do myself (oil change, radiator flush, transmission oil change, valve clearence, spark plugs, dist. cap, etc)
The question is: does anybody know how to turn that light off? I read it has to be reset by honda mechanic.

Just turn it off, and make sure you are keeping up with regular maintenence items.
