ok well i have a sedan and the driver side wiper arm, when it is on, instead of stopping before it hits the sealant of the windshield it actually hits the sealant, and you can hear it in the car, how would i go about moving the wiper arm down so it stops before it hits this? i removed the black top to where the arm hits the thing to make it move but i didn't want to break anything by pushing or pulling to hard

 

You can try adjusting it.
