I just had trouble with my abs light comeing on, i found that my brake fluid was low, but also my fluid at the abs modulater was low. I did not know that there was a small tank over near the fuses were brake fluid is suposed to be. Also, i pulled the fuses under the abs cap and let the car sit for a while (do this when it is turned off) then put them back in. Everything is fine now! No ABS light! Maybe this works for you, it did for my 93 accord! ABS helps a lot, when the ABS light goes off it turns off abs system, so you have normal brakes. I was going about 45 mph, and the light turned yellow, didn't have enough time to run it, I put on brakes, and the car sqealed to a stop, smoke comeing from tires! So if your thinking about taken the abs off, its not the best choice, because it can really help one day! Also, your problem could be simple as a wheel senser that has just gone bad!
Later!
