Default Wierd, fluctuating idle when in park???

A friend of mine has a 93 Accord, and when it's in park the idle fluctuates from about 1k-3k RPM, just back and forth. I don't know if it's because it's been so much colder lately here, or if it's something more. I haven't gone into any in depth detail of searching the car over, but any first impressions or ideas?? Thanks.

5spd or auto?

the very few things i can think of are...

1. engine mounts broken?
2. vaccum leak?

theres more i just can't think of any right now

I have the same exact problem with my 94 EX. After driving it, and sitting in park, the rpms will go from 1k to about 3k. I sat in the car for a minute or so just watching the rpms do this, and there wasn't any sign it was going to stop.

I'm pretty sure it's a vaccum hose, but not sure where. Also, just replaced the stock intake yesterday, BUT, this was happening before the intake was replaced. I tried to connect the vaccum hoses on the intake to the best of my memory. Anyone know which vaccum hose it could be?

I had this problem about 3 months ago on my 96. I ran some seafoam through it and the problem disappeared. Maybe a bad or dirty IAC?

Default Idle fluctuations

I had this on my 91 Accord SE. It was the Fast Idle Thermo Valve. Cost $90.00 and easily replaced it myself in 20 minutes.

Especially bad while cold, when warm it doesn't happen. Also, when the engine warmed up it stopped, too.
