Get a compression test done on the motor first and see if it is within ok parameters. If it is go on ahead and boost it. If it blows get another f22 then this time do the bottom end and get the head Port and polish so it can handle more boost. F22 are cheap so you wouldn't spend much on the motor or trans. If this is your only car be prepared for some downtime. i would say just get another f22 first and work the motor some then start putting the parts together on that motor so there wouldn't be so much downtime for you.

There really isn't a difference. Some people say that the vtec hurts the turbo while others say it helps. But I really don't think it would do any harm but instead help so it's up too you. Either motor will work just fine.

Dude, I'm in the middle of the same dilemma. 2G for a H22 swap (engine, tranny, harness and ECU) or a few hundred for a turbo setup?

Or about 10 grand for a F22c... YEAH RIGHT! If only my wallet was that big...

If everyone thinks it's better to just turbo an F, then what would you recommend? I have 2 F22's. One in my car right now with 130k on it, and on the floor of my shop with 116. Should I buy a kit, (if so where) or should I buy everything piece by piece?
