People are sayin it is illegal, don't go doing it just cuz you want to. If the proper authorites do find out that you have it installed, you and the shop you took it to will more than likely be fined heavily

Otherwise any DEI alarm that has remote start will work.

Hey Nikon, did you ever find out what mechanism is used in the Compustar to detect neutral? I like that reserve mode that other guy was talking about. My neighbors would love to have the manual remote starter, they go out every morning and start their cars 30 minutes before they leave. I heard that kills your catilytic converter.

I agree with most here, if its not safe, dont do it. Im hearing a lot of talk about a mechanism that detects in gear status. That would be cool. As an Auto tranny owner, Id give up my remote start in a quick second if I had to to get a 5spd.
