Installed UR Crank Pulley... help!
Cranks don't go out of balance? It's not a tire.
Balancing a crank also doesn't make a 4-cyl run smoother as that's what the harmonic shafts do. The pulley likely helps dampen vibration but it's not balancing anything out.
Try re-installing the old pulley, it's likely the old one had some damping to it. Else, learn to live with a rough engine as removing many OE recipricating parts cause this.

Day 3:
After work today I pulled the UR pulley and put the stock one back on (again). I couldn't really tell any difference with the engine just running (still felt rough) so I went for a drive. It feels a little better than it did during the day but NOT like it did before I started this whole fiasco. Now I am worried that the UR pulley screwed something up and it will never be the same. However I still fail to see how the light pulley could cause such a huge change in engine harmonics. I am sure the timing belt is dead on, I am going to re-re-check the balancer belt and shafts tomorrow and hopefully find something there. I have no idea what else it could be, except a main bearing being shot
Oh well, maybe this is a sign for my to finally get that H22

Well I have driven almost 100 miles with it vibrating on there
. I did not change anything but the timing belt, water pump, and timing belt tensioner idler bearing. My guess is it HAS to be the balancing shafts, so I will open it up again tomorrow and check it out, although I already did the same thing yesterday. We'll see... if all else fails I always have the backup car until the Accord is fixed

Day 4:
SUCESS! Turns out the rear balance shaft was off after all
. I didn't realize since it is gear driven off the rear pulley it doesn't rotate at the same rate as the pulley itself, therefore the mark I put on the pulley was only good in 1 of 4 orientations. The manual outlines the proper way to align the rear balance shaft... All good now, smooth with UR pulley installed!

So do you love the pulley set, I'm thinking of getting the complete kit for my Cord when I change my belts.
