Default Installing Head Unit

I just got a Pioneer Head Unit for my 97 Accord...Is the only thing I need to get to install it the wiring harness? Thank you for your info...

pretty much, you can use the stock rear bracket to hold the deck in place, then I use a metal strap (homemade) wrapped around the deck and screw it into the holes on the pocket below... then just place it back in how it came out. When you do this, make sure the depth is the same as the stock setup, this may require the fabrication of a nifty little bracket for the back. There are also dash kits available for your car, but they tend to not look so good... they look really cheap and tacky.

sodering(sp?) iron, soder, shrink wrap and you should be set. I custom made a bracket in the back for mine. it's an L shaped piece of metal, pretty easy to make. Good luck!
