2003 accord stereo
You can go to www.honda.com and look at all the details of your vehicle. You can register your vin# and it gives you a schedule for maintience and any details you may need for your records. I am certain you can look up the stereo and goodies too.
You can find a lot of this information at the Majestic Honda website - Hondaautomotiveparts.com - The stock head unit I believe is Alpine. The speakers on most models are Pioneer, but some - just V6 I think - are something different, I can't remember what.
the 120 watt figure is the max power... a good estimate for RMS power would be half that... 60 watts... so 15 watts RMS per speaker would be a good estimate.
The head unit is made by alpine for all 2003 accords, the speakers are panasonic.

Mine are also Pioneer - I think the i4 speakers are Pioneer and the V6 are Panasonic?
I had wondered about that, too . . . I have a DX so right now I only have 2 speakers - in the doors. So, am I getting 30 watts RMS per speaker right now, or is it still 15? Does that mean that, when I put 6X9s in the back, half of the power that my front speakers are now getting will go to the back? I definitely want to upgrade my stereo (with rear speakers, better front speakers and probably an amp) but I don't know much at all about car audio so I'm putting it off til I learn more - hopefully by spring!

the EX's have panasonic speakers... sorry, forgot to clarify that.
Draka- Your stock headunit already has a 4 channel amp built in... so if you add speakers in the rear, the power to each speaker wont change. To get the most from aftermarket speakers, a good, fairly powerful 4 channel amp is a must...
