Mine are also Pioneer - I think the i4 speakers are Pioneer and the V6 are Panasonic?

I had wondered about that, too . . . I have a DX so right now I only have 2 speakers - in the doors. So, am I getting 30 watts RMS per speaker right now, or is it still 15? Does that mean that, when I put 6X9s in the back, half of the power that my front speakers are now getting will go to the back? I definitely want to upgrade my stereo (with rear speakers, better front speakers and probably an amp) but I don't know much at all about car audio so I'm putting it off til I learn more - hopefully by spring!
