I am running 65 shots right now on my auto and it is running fine. I will be doing 75 shots soon. Do your research on things and your motor and tranny will run fine.

BTW, I made my setup a push button setup where I don't spray in between shifts. It is much better on the tranny.

i also have a 6 gen and blew my motor after about 1 month. i had a NOS single fogger 75 shot with all the propper fuel and ignition upgrades. i dyno tuned the car and everything. i was putting down 197whp and 235 torque. my a/r was really rich so we droped fuel pressure 5lbs and went up one nitrous jet. i was still rich.we could of kept on making more power but i had no internal upgrades.
my motor blew not to long after.but my best time was 14.5@98mph.if i was you i wont even put NOS on that motor.
my motor only had 35000 miles on it.
What exactly happened to your motor? Headgasket? Piston seal? Threw a rod?

my kit was activated by a full throttle switch.
my car was DYNO tuned. i had 2 nitrous backfires trough the intake while on the dyno. how i blew my motor? I was about to race a carmaro so i armed my NOS. at full throttle at about
5000rpms or so i had a back fire so i let off the gas and i floor it again.....another back fire floor it a third time and that was it.one of my valves hit the piston.i pulled my plugs out and the tip of the #3 and 4 plugs were blown off. i cant remember what the part # was for the plugs were but they were 2 degrees colder.

Sorry I dont know about N2O I dont suck bottles.

I am guessing that "window switch" isn't a switch you use to run your windows. :dunno:

Window switch is a range you set, in which you can activiate your spray of NO2.
ie: 4000-6000 rpm
ie: 6000-8000 rpm.
Only at those set ranges will your sprayer will engage.

When you have a push button setup running with n20, do you hold the button when you want to inject nitrous, and when you want to stop injecting do you let go of the button? Or do you just tap the button and nitrous injects itself?

Sounds like you had an installation issue, you were backfiring because you had fuel on the intake side. You were likely puddling fuel, where did you have the jet placed? You should have fixed the back fire on the dyno WAY before going on the track.

It only fires when you hold the button.

But this is kinda frowned upon. This prevents you from having both hands on the wheel/shifter in many cases. Plus you really have to focus on the RPM's. It may be easier to use a shift light and window switch style set-up instead.

For my push button setup, I press the button to have it spray. It is a momentary button so when I let go of the button, I will stop spraying. In addition, it will only spray at WOT so there is no worries about spraying when the motor is not at WOT.

yes it was fixed on the dyno i had the 75 shot combo. after we saw that i was still running really rich we went down one fuel jet.
and drop the fuel pressure 5lbs. cam gears were retard 4degrees
and my msd box would retard my ignition 6degrees only when nitrous is activated.you have to remember that the car is obd2.
I just got nitrous because i wanted to go fast for cheap. those to words don't go hand-in-hand.save your money you not going to hit 13s in the car point blank.not off no 75shot at least.just get a h22 or a h23 because you have a better foundation and more potential.you could buy all the bolt-on mods like i did with NOS and still don't hit 13s that car just to heavy.
