whats that got to do with N2O??????
Ok let me stat by telling you it is veary easy to blow your motor off of a 75 shot.
i also have a 6 gen and blew my motor after about 1 month. i had a NOS single fogger 75 shot with all the propper fuel and ignition upgrades. i dyno tuned the car and everything. i was putting down 197whp and 235 torque. my a/r was really rich so we droped fuel pressure 5lbs and went up one nitrous jet. i was still rich.we could of kept on making more power but i had no internal upgrades.
my motor blew not to long after.but my best time was 14.5@98mph.if i was you i wont even put NOS on that motor.
my motor only had 35000 miles on it.

Many kits now aren't push a button at all.
They are armed off of the RPM and TPS (throttle position switch) and a combination of RPM and WOT generally triggers the kits.
As for the reply of blowing an Accord 2.3 liter on a 75 shot fogger, that was kinda high to start with on an Accord. Many kits let you start at 35-55hp jump, always start as low as possible and then move up the shot carefully. A good rule of thumb is never shoot below 3500-4000rpm depending on the motor. A lot of guys also don't squeeze in first gear for a trackion-rev limiter issues.
Window switches allow you to set the activation window on a nitrous kit, example a 4000 and 6500 window switch selection will only let you spray between 4k and 6500rpm.
I'm not sure if many people spray on Accords in this forum, but as I said earlier many of the hardcore nitrous junkies are found on; www.clubsi.com

It's OK if you are sure you have something better then 91 octane gas. (Us Mid-Easterners are lucky 93-94 OCT pump) Cooler plugs, dedicated on-off points for your system.
Running a 75shot on push the button and hope is risky, another thing to remember the F-series, by Honda standards, is a low compression engine. [F22 8.8:1/F23 9.3:1] The B and H series Vtec engines have ring lands and supporting features ment to see high redline use at elevated compression. Adding N2O into the F is increasing your compression, is this OK, maybe? But running lots of runs at 75shot (50-55% the engines output stock) maybe up there for an F-series, I certainly wouldn't run anymore then 75 on stock rings and valves in an F-series. Oh, and be sure you have a good, fully functioning fuel pump too, many over look this.
A lot of the hardcore nitrous users on stock engines run the following setups:
-Colder heat rating plugs. (Zex)
-Upgraded ingnition w/ timing retard optional on small shots(MSD. etc.)
-upgraded aftermarket fuel pumps for larger fogger kits (Walbro, etc.)
-Window switches for aided activation of the kits.
-There is also a lot of debate about were best to place the nozzle for good mixture of Air, N20, and fuel + to prevent puddling of excess fuel in the intake. Many use the 6" run, some swear by the 1" infront of throttle plate long time users of both exist.
-A bottle heater for consistant tank pressure.
-You may want guages to support your set-up too.
-Not directly for above, but a clutch upgrade will be needed over time given enough abuse to the drive train.
Figure $1000-1500.00 msrp for a complete set-up like above (no clutch), with this still alot cheaper then turbo charging your Accord. A fully functioning nitrous set-up installed well, is still one of the cheapest and best power adders for non-DOT approved Turbo kits applications on engines. Any car can make significant gains on nitrous if done correctly. But unlike turbos figure avg. $50 per 10 lbs. bottle per fill. Many of the guys running nitrous never go to the track, they just spray on the expessway going to and from work, plus still get the joy of stock mpg. and easy for long trips.
You may want to venture to other parts of this web-board and other forums looking for nitrous users. I've spent a good year on and off researching for my nitrous kit future install. It's a fairly universal install on many imports so advice is very cross brand exchangable. Some of the most hardcore users are domestic FWD cars, as turbo kits have been limited in the past for them.
Wow, puts a whole new perspective on things, hehe. I guess its back to doing more research. I guess if i get the set up it better to get the bigger bottle insted of the mini sneaky pete system from NOS. Nice, thnx for the responce guys.
