What part of NY are you getting these tickets? Seems like every Honda or Import here has them and I rarely see fix it tickets for them?

I love FL for this ONLY, other wise I hate FL,

But you can have black construction paper for tint, no exhause, and half the time not even a back plate and still not get a ticket for it, while getting one for speeding, LOL....

I got pulled over my first day home for the summer because my front plate was off....stupid bitch gave me a $60 dollar ticket and said "your lucky one of my fellow officers didn't catch you or you'd have a ticket for your exhaust as well." :madfawk:
therefore a meineke exhaust which most folks get would be illegal.

yup....I think cops in our area are biased toward imports, just because there are so many ricers with just a huge can welded onto the stock piping.....

what is the law that is broken according to the ticket??

if says noise violation than you can fight since the WS is obviuosly just about as noisy as stock. have an officer come out to your and listen for themselves. also, put your stock intake back on since with the WS your intake is the source for the most of the sound. if it's noise you have to find out if it's decibels or officer discretion. obviuosly if it's DBs they have to prove it, not you and you should win easily. if it's up to officer discretion then, you just have another officer look at it. actually my friend got an exhaust ticket and drove right to the station to have another officer look it and they ripped it up.

if it says modified or altered exhaust that would be much harder to fight. generally modified or alterted at least in NH means for sound or emissions. obviuosly it doesn't effect emissions, but it does make the exhaust note louder although very little making it more difficult to fight.

i got pulled over in ny for not having a front lisence plate and the officer came back and said just put the lisence back on and change the exhaust back to stock.

i was like what for. he said that it is illegal and i said no way it is a greddy exhaust and it is 50 state legal and he tryed to bust my balls and i busted his right back saying go check the law it has to be over 70db to be illegal.

he was like you wanna see the law i was like ya
we went back to his car and he checked on his computer and it said anything louder then stock exhaust is illegal. so i asked about mustangs and all these loud cars coming straight from the factory and y are those legal and mine is illegal yet mine is alot quieter.

there was another section that said it has to be louder then 72db at a 25foot distance to be illegal .
he said well i didnt give you a ticktet for your exhaust so its all good

end of story
if your in ny it has to be louder then 72db at a 25 foot distance
