4000 is what mine is at right now. The price keeps climbing with all the additional stuff I keep adding.

Speaking of this same subject, I've been REALLY wanting to do the same thing to my 94 EX. I was curious if any of you could give me a quote on what you think is a good price to swap out an H22, swap to a M/T (A/T sucks a BIG one) and all the necessary parts to go with it? Any help I would really really appreciate..

btw, I was considering buying from this GB, and scroll down and look for the 'h22a complete changeover w/lsd.' Thanks again

Edit: I just thought of this, here in NC we have inspections and do you know if I would still pass w/the H22 and M/T swap?

Yea, it will pass. They only do emissions probe testing there, so it will be fine. The price all comes down to where you get the parts and how much research and time you put into it. Parts alone will probablly come close to 3 grand.

Answer to "Is it hard to swap" YES, it's gonna always be hard to do a swap for the first time.......When I did my H23 swap It wasn't hard , Just alot of mind games. I did this myself, and yeah it's my first HONDA swap. I can't say it was easy.....BUT if you're good at working on cars...I say DO IT....I'm actually proud of the fact I did this swap myself...I feel like a serious guy other than those who have others do it ....and on top of that I saved all that damn labor money.:naughty: :naughty:

It might be cheaper on your install if you do a search around the net, I know I have seen the part listing for a 5spd swap on here I think. Than find all those parts at junkyards and what not, it might not be much but it could cut down cost a little, every penny counts
