The accord is dead... sucked up some water and killed it. ****in rain.

Anyways... I guess i have a reason to get an H22 now... just gotta save for it. I'm gonna need all the info I can get on the swap, so feel free to write a book for me!
why did you go through a big puddle? or did you come on it fast? that sucks.

Do what he said, and remove the plugs, crank the engine a few times to see if water comes spurting out, see if you can dry things out a bit replace the plugs, and keep y our fingers crossed. Maybe things were not damaged.

If the car runs ok, make sure you change the oil ASAP after that.

i know its hydrolocked... trust me, I know motors pretty well... the motor dosent turn at all. I'm probably gonna start tearing it apart once this rain stops... get a better idea of what I wanna do. A swap seems ideal, but is kinda out of my league right now, as I'm not even working at the moment. Probably will end up re-building it... but i'll build it up in the process.... none of that stock shit.

Its hydrolocked. Thats exactly what mine did. After tearing the engine apart, one of the connecting rods broke under all the pressure of the piston trying to compress water.

Remove the spark plugs and try cranking the engine to flush out water.

If it begins to crank and die, put everything back and try starting the car have someone hold the throttle cable and keep on revving until you see major white smoke and water pouring from your exhaust.

This happened to my boy while we drove from Atlanta, Ga to Orlando, Fl.

Oh yeah, you gotta change the oil too.

If you hydrolock your motor won't throw shit out the block all the time, there is a d16 in a friends garage, the kid's motor died, he did a swap and replaced it, there wasn't anything flying out of the motor.
