My clearcoated (and they are) OEM alloy wheels shine, but only when VERY clean and polished. Once driving on them and collecting road dirt, they appear dull and completely un-shiny. really, I can say that they look better dirty than how my hubcaps looked dirty. I'm sure they look better dirty than when the 15" alloys look dirty. If you don't like how it looks when they get dirty, just wash them!

well, I just take it to the car wash while at college, or do a quick car wash in the driveway if I'm home in Houston. It takes time, but after while you can wash a car by hand quickly and effectively...
