My clearcoated (and they are) OEM alloy wheels shine, but only when VERY clean and polished. Once driving on them and collecting road dirt, they appear dull and completely un-shiny. Thats what I HATE about regular, standard alloy, non-chrome rims that every auto manufacturer puts as standard on their cars. On luxury cars, sure, chrome is an upgrade, but usually the car comes with alloy. And it looks soooooo dull.
