You might want to look into going hybrid with your rods as well, rather than spending a $1000.00 for aftermarket ones. I don't remember which ones will fit in the D series but I do know there are some OEM rods that will inable a D series to handle upwards of 300HP. A stock D16Z6 or y8 can handle about 200HP but if you want reliability, you must stregthen your block and increase oil flow and cooling. I will definately be getting a oil cooler and turbo timer very soon to insure my investment.
