Dynamic Compression Ratio
I found a great calculator for you guys if you are interested in finding what you dynamic compression ratio is based on your static compression ratio, cam, boost, etc. Hopefully you can use it to figure out whether or not a combo would run good on pump gas or not.

It also gives the cylinder pressure which is really the most critical thing in determining fuel requirements. You can check with some race gas manufacturers to determine what PSI cylinder pressure requires which fuel.

BTW, if you are guessing at intake valve closing point your numbers will be off. An example is the Skunk2 stage 2 cams which have an intake closing point of 49 ATDC @ 1mm which will get you close. Stock cams will close sooner by 5-10 degrees.
