Default Front bumper removal

I wanna take out the factory intake tubing but I think I need to remove the bumper to accomplish this. I referred to Chilton but it didn't have a very good description. Help me out eh. Its a 94 Coupe. Thanks.

Remove the bumper. It will give you a clearer view of how the whole thing is connected. There should be like 2 bolts on the very bottom of the assembly. Unscrew those and yank everything out. It's tricky, but rewarding after.

I think you misunderstood.....or maybe I did I need help removing the bumper. Like what bolts and what not. I don't wanna unscrew things I don't have to and have the bumper fall the concrete and get scratched to hell. I'm sure its easy and I should just go for it so its all good.

h: ...my bad

Open the hood. There are 5 bolts on top. One bolt under each side of the front wheel well behind the lining. 3 bolts on the bottom.

Since he is worried about scratching up the bumper, I would work from the bottom on up. Start with the three on the bottom. Then the two screws in the fenderwell (it helps if your tires are turned) and then the 5 on top. That way, after the 5, you can just slide the bumper forward and put it away safely.

if you are really scared like i was the first time i took off the bumper just put some like cardboard or like some towels if you are really concerned under the front of the car
that way IF it falls at least the landing will be cushioned....
