at closed it should be .5 volts. at wide open throttle it should be 4.5.

if you set it properly at closed, WOT should be @ 4.5

a lot of the honda tps' are interchangable.

i've got an extra sitting around, but it didn't work well on my ericks racing tb.
Not much point in posting the .pdf now. This is pretty much exactly what it said to do.

The "bolts" on my TPS sensor for my old CX were actually just pop-rivets. There were no threads. Even if there were, there was no ability to turn it to adjust it once it was removed. It just had 2 round holes for the rivets, no slotted screw hole, no room for movement. '92 CX throttle bodies are junk anyway, but everyone knows that already.

You have to admit that Honda could have made it a lot easier for the backyard mechanic if they just used standard screws like every other mfr. does. They made it difficult on purpose. They won't sell you just a TPS sensor by itself. Where did you get your extra one, Bumnah?

Honda TPS sensors are screwed on using torque-break screws, they are like regular screws but the head breaks off when the set torque is reached....you can use almost any TPS for any honda from 88+. I have a couple lying around I can sell you that work fine. The best way to remove the old one is to use a hacksaw blad, cut a slit in the head of the screw and unscrew it. When you screw on the new sensor you must have the ignition turned on and a voltmeter handy. Rotate the TPE until it reads .45VDC or below when closed and 4.5+VDC at WOT and viola, you are done.

you can either do it two ways

the hacksaw head cut or you can do what i do and get a hammer and a screwdriver and tap the outside edge till it starts to turn, then repeat and repeat till it comes off.
