What don't you like about your fiber images?

cf can crack, mines has a chip it in due to rocks. but under normal driving condition it is strong. btw i have fiber image and it fits like a glove, one complaint is that the edges are not rolled.

I'm about to head for home out of my office so I'm in a hurry... I apologize if I double-answered either of your questions... My hood came pre-drilled for nozzles. I just pulled my stock ones off and swapped em' over. Took five seconds.

My hood has stayed in place without hoodpins for a few months now no problem but I want to install them anyway just so if I go out of town for a race, I don't get surprised by the officials saying, "Sorry bud... gotta' have hoodpins."

The VIS has a UV-protectant gel coating that can be waxed so no problems there.

TIME TO GO HOME!

carbon fiber hood chips as much as regular hoods. just get it. most CF hood usually comes with clear coat so you shouldn't worry about that unless you want to be extra careful.

I've had my CF hood for over a year. It came coated. Compred to my stock hood-- there's only about 1 or 2 minor chips. I repainted my stock hood because of all the chips...
